NATIVE SPEAKERS - TEASER VIDEO
“Native Speakers” is a music act created by saxophonist Vasilis Xenopoulos and vibraphonist Dimitris Angelakis. For years they have gained respect and international presence both as leaders and sidemen having performed on various jazz festivals and venues around the world. Their new project consists of a mixture of original compositions as well as their own arrangements of jazz classics. “Native Speakers” appear under four different line-ups (duet, trios, quartets, and quintets), which allows them to collaborate with some of the finest musicians from Europe and the US. Special Thanks to Yiotis Samaras (guitar), Nikos Chatzisakos (bass), Jason Wastor (drums) and Fotis Papatheodorou (videography) for their unique contribution.
